Supported sources and scheduled checks

Source coverage and available actions vary. Finding a broker's contact details, searching for a record, submitting a request and verifying an outcome are separate capabilities. A catalogue entry alone does not mean all of those actions are available.

Checks run in batches on the applicable schedule shown in the service. This does not mean every supported source is checked in every batch or continuously. Third-party access and supported coverage can change. The description of your service must explain any material limits before you order.

What the results mean

Possible match or finding
A source has produced information that may relate to your details. It may be incomplete, out of date or refer to somebody with similar details. Check the case and source evidence before relying on it.
No exposure found
No matching exposure was recorded in the sources checked at that time. It does not establish that none exists elsewhere or will appear later.
Request sent or accepted
A request has progressed through the correspondence workflow. Email-provider acceptance or delivery is not evidence that a broker completed removal.
Removal outcome
The case records an outcome supported by the available evidence and review. It does not promise deletion of every lawful record, backup, cache or independent copy. Information can reappear.

Your authority and involvement

The beta is for UK residents aged 18 or over using their own information. Your authority allows the supported privacy work and necessary disclosures described in the Terms. It does not let us accept fees, enter other paid contracts or waive legal claims on your behalf.

A broker may need identity or authority checks and your involvement before it can act. You can withdraw authority for future requests through privacy@idpurge.co.uk. Withdrawal cannot recall information already sent to an independent organisation.

Your rights and the service you choose

You can normally make privacy requests directly to an organisation free of charge. A future subscription pays for management, monitoring features that are actually offered and evidence handling. It does not buy the statutory right itself. Rights requests to IDpurge are also normally free, subject to the limited legal exceptions.

IDpurge cannot guarantee prevention of fraud, spam, stalking or identity theft. The service does not provide identity-theft insurance or guaranteed fraud compensation. General information is not personalised legal advice, and the service does not include court representation or compensation-claim settlement.

Planned dark-web monitoring

Dark-web monitoring is planned and is not included in the current beta. Before it is offered, we will explain which identifiers, available sources and frequency are covered and the relevant provider/data handling.

Monitoring cannot search the entire dark web or remove all stolen copies. Results may be historical, incomplete or incorrect. A result does not by itself prove a current account compromise; no result does not prove that your details have never been exposed.

Help and consumer rights

These limits describe the service and do not remove your statutory rights or our obligation to use reasonable care and skill. For account help, adjustments or a concern about a result, use contact and complaints. See the Terms and Privacy Notice for the full details.
